We are giving the opportunity to children even as young as 5 years old to express their support against discrimination against Asians in this community. We hope to help stop or severely limit the racial tensions in many cities.
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, there have been too many AAPI Hate incidents in California and in Silicon Valley as well. Although Asian Hate is not only limited to California, trying to stop AAPI from here would set a precedent for others. Participants can participate in peacefully protesting against AAPI Hate - Spread awareness and meaningful impact through art. While creating this art piece, participant emphasizes will be on LOVE. Our hope is that this will positively impact participants, and show everyone the power of love and unity. Most importantly, LOVE not hate, will deliver PEACE to all around the world.
It is important for the entire community to stand together against discrimination against Asians. CLF had participated in many of the Stop AAPI Hate rallies in the past in Saratoga, Cupertino, San Jose and Los Gatos. We witnessed such powerful emotional expressions, public outcries and elected official supports. Sadly, racial tension and conflicts continue to occur around us.
